Digitalization and digital gap :

The digital revolution has transformed how we communicate, work, and access information, improving many facets of our lives. As a ‘digi citizen,’ I have firsthand knowledge of how convenient digital technologies are, from easy online purchasing to smooth communication through social media.

Old generation finds difficulties using digital platforms. Invoices, learning new things, connecting to the world might be challenging to them. However, in Finland I see older people joining classes for learning the digital platform that makes them easy to access to digital world.

Self-Reflection :

My experiences as a “digi citizen” have taught me to value the numerous opportunities that digitization provides. I have seen directly how technology has enhanced numerous facets of our life, from the ease of using internet services to the potency of digital communication. 

Being a good digital citizen becomes increasingly essential as we navigate this hybrid environment. Protecting personal information and fostering a positive online culture requires understanding online etiquette, privacy protections, and digital security procedures. Accepting digitalization creates new opportunities for interaction, communication, and resource access.
